1. Flanders: Chiron at the heart of the system
In Flanders, the central obligation is Chiron, the Flemish central taxi trip database. The Flemish government states that the operator of a taxi service must send trip information to Chiron.
The operator, or the company's representative, must ensure that equipment in each vehicle transmits a number of data to Chiron for each trip. Flanders — types and conditions

2. Brussels: documentary logic and platforms
In Brussels, you must distinguish rank taxi and street taxi. Brussels also distinguishes ceremonial taxis. The Brussels tax page describes street taxis as chauffeur-driven hire vehicles and Uber-type vehicles. Taxi service tax
Rank taxi
For rank taxis, Brussels clearly refers to the route sheet. Brussels Mobility states that the Passenger Transport Directorate no longer issues paper sheets: the operator must complete, print, number and retain sheets as PDF.
The order of 6 October 2022 confirms that rank taxi drivers must be able to hand over a printed or electronic daily route sheet to control agents. The digital version — notably via a tool like TaxiGer — facilitates filing by vehicle and five-year retention.
Street taxi
For Brussels street taxi, the main issue is booking proof, reserved trip, trip data and ticket — not a route sheet in the Walloon sense.
The order specifies that street taxi drivers may not park within 100 metres of a taxi rank, except within a booked trip. When a trip is reserved via a reservation intermediary, the prior information obligation lies with that intermediary.

3. Wallonia: route sheet for every taxi vehicle
In Wallonia, the implementing order provides that every vehicle assigned to a taxi service must have a daily route sheet on board relating to the vehicle's movements, established according to annex 15.
The sheet can be electronic, must be viewable at all times, and sheets must be retained at head office for at least 3 years. This also covers street taxis — including via Uber, Bolt or another approved platform. TaxiGer allows generating and archiving these daily sheets at head office.
Walloon street taxi is operated exclusively via an electronic intermediation service. The platform must be approved by the Walloon Government. It can provide booking proof, but does not replace the vehicle route sheet.

The document depends on taxi type:

- street taxi: reservation / booking proof;

The taxi vehicle must have a daily route sheet, even if working via Uber, Bolt or another approved platform.
4. Interregional trips
